Infertility is a condition that affects approximately 10-15% of couples globally.
Defined as the inability to conceive after one year of unprotected intercourse, infertility can stem from issues with either the male or female partner, or both.
Common causes include hormonal imbalances, structural problems, and genetic factors.
Despite its prevalence, infertility often remains shrouded in silence and stigma. Many individuals feel isolated and reluctant to discuss their struggles due to societal pressures and misconceptions.
Infertility Awareness Month seeks to change this by encouraging open conversations and providing accurate information about the condition.
It is important to note that if you or someone you know is struggling with infertility that you are NOT alone!
