My name is Aelis Rivera (she/they) I am a Queer Bilingual BIPOC Full Spectrum Doula, Certified Perinatal & Childbirth Educator. I am also the Secretary & Diversity and Inclusion Officer for Central Florida Birth Network. Come September 2023 I will be a Student Midwife with Commonsense Childbirth School of Midwifery. I have been a Child Abuse, Domestic Violence and LBGTQIA + Advocate for over 20+ years. Originally from the Bronx, NY I worked very hard to educate and support not only abuse survivors but churches, schools and teens in prevention, safety and signs of these abuses. Going into reproductive care/justice was a natural segway and I have been able to use my years of advocacy work and have incorporated it with her Full Spectrum work to provide accessible, inclusive and respectful care, education and resources to everyone in all aspects of their reproductive journeys.
