My name is Lauren Wales & I am a licensed massage therapist specializing in abdominal and pelvic wellness with training as an Advanced Arvigo practitioner, Nurturing the Mother pre/postnatal massage therapist, cesarean & top surgery scar tissue remediation practitioner and much more!
I am a queer full spectrum doula & CLC married to the nonbinary love of my life, a mama to an amazing grown person who was born at home in water in 2003, & I am a 2nd year student midwife working towards FL licensure. I presently attend births with a homebirth practice that has a clinic in Winter Park, but I have been in practice in the field of reproductive care work since 2001. I've been professionally encapsulating placentas for over 10 years & I am a newborn massage and craniosacral therapist. I enjoy working with clients from preconception through pregnancy, postpartum & beyond.
I find I often work with multiple generations in one family, from baby, birthing person and partner(s) to grandparents, as I see my work as rooted in community healing & I love collaborating with PTs, chiropractors, midwives & others as part of a care team for reproductive wellness.
I currently reside in the greater Orlando, FL area (FL MA 102623), USA, on the unceded occupied homelands of the Seminole & Miccosukee tribes of Florida.
