How far are you willing to travel?: I normally travel as far as an hour and 15 minutes from DeLand, but will travel out of radius and even out of state for special circumstances and with travel fees.
Do you offer a sliding scale or discounted services?: I offer discounts with unique circumstances on a case-per-case basis and military discounts. I am always willing to provide a payment plan to any client.
Happy Waves Doula Services was born out of a pure & fierce need to support birthing people and their babies. This desire was cultivated through one traumatic birth experience, and one beautiful healing birth journey.
At Happy Waves Doula Services, we believe mothers should feel their unique power and pure bliss during birth. And that a doula's role is to hold space for the birthing person to bring a new life into this world safely, comfortably, and with empowerment.
"Happy Waves" are what birthing people experience during their birthing time. They are powerful surges of happiness that bring a baby into a parent's arms and change their life. As your doula, I make sure that your birthing space remains safe, you feel completely comfortable and relaxed during your birthing time, and are able to make empowered choices about YOUR birth with evidence-based resources.
